i just found this video when researching about this week's friday speaker, casey caplowe, co-founder and creative director of GOOD magazine.

WOW. what a great spot. its amazing what can be done with a camera and a great idea. i really admire the way that this material was presented. i mean if you think about it. there are simple facts. if you put them on paper, one on top of the other, in say 12 pt helvetica, it just doesnt do it... ya know? but then if you write the human body, shoot a voyeuristic style video, and lay an fitting music bed to it... WOW. what a difference right? i wish i knew the budget on this one!

so i wanted to discuss the latest phenomenon of companies like threadless and zazzle and moo and cafepress that are allowing people to make cool shit and have it sent to their doors.

as someone who likes to make things. this is pretty much what i have been waiting for my entire life. i mean you can make anything from cards to business cards to shirts to stickers. i mean sure, this has been going on since the dawn of the internet and beyond, but now-a-days its easier than ever before (like you mom) and the quality is becoming something to write home about... i have nothing bad to say about this... word on the street, with production becoming cheaper, soon we will be customizing electronics and 3D toys... here are a few sites to take note of...
